$ 20 billion Indian fighter jet deal to make progress

Ending months of silence on buying new fighter jets, India has announced it will push the case of getting 114 jets from a foreign maker under a deal expected to be in around $ 20 billion.

India UK form industry-led defence aerospace group

IDD Bureau The UK India Business Council (UKIBC) have announced the establishment of an Aerospace and Defence Industry Group (ADIG) to promote UK-India collaboration for make in India. Core members of the group include Rolls-Royce, BAE systems, Thales UK, MBDA, Leonardo, TVS Logistics, PEXA, Pattonair and Cranfield University, the council said in statement  on Friday.
